Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching and supporting many people, from team members just starting out to C-level executives. While I enjoy all aspects of my work, there’s something particularly energising about seeing people grow from junior roles into or in leadership, often across countries, industries, and continents. 🚀
This week, someone from Berlin publicly on LinkedIn thanked me for helping them land their current role a couple of years ago. A really kind shout-out that left me genuinely touched. ✨
And it’s not an exception. Just this week, I’ve been asked a friend in Switzerland to help navigating her next professional step. A few months ago, a member of a communications team, from what used to be a competitor, reached out, unsure what to do in his mid-50s after being „restructured“ after more then a decade in the company. He’s now happily started in a new role. 🥳
Lately, I’ve been getting more and more messages, often via LinkedIn or WhatsApp, from friends and former colleagues curious about what it’s like to start your own business in your fifties. I always try to answer openly: I’m in a good place right now and feel very lucky. But I also know it’s tough out there – the market is tight, opportunities can feel scarce. 💬
And yet, there are still companies actively looking for great people. At any age.
To everyone who has trusted me with their questions, hopes, and decisions – thank you. It’s a true joy to support talented people. And if I can help, I will. 🙏
